The purpose of this guide is to instruct a User of the Turntide Motor System on how to set up a P05 Motor Controller to utilize a 0 – 10 Volt DC control input for Motor Speed.
- Use input UI2 for your 0-10V control signal input.
- Connect your 0-10VDC positive (+) conductor to UI2 terminal
- Connect the 0-10VDC negative/common (-) conductor to the AC adjacent terminal to UI2
- Set the J111 jumper pins across positions 3&4. This sets UI2 to 0-10VDC input mode
- Set a jumper or dry contact closure across terminals S1 and SC.
- This dry contact functions as the Enable for the motor.
- Open circuit across S1 and SC is “STOP”
- Closed circuit across S1 and SC is “ENABLE”
- Set the J96 jumper pins across positions 3&4. This sets the S1-S7 control inputs to “Dry Contacts” mode.
- Apply a Dry Contact Only on the S1-S7 terminals.
- Applying voltage or current to the inputs in this mode may result in damage to the Motor Controller
- Applying voltage or current to the inputs in this mode may result in damage to the Motor Controller
- Open the Turntide Technician app and connect to the Motor Controller
- Go to Settings > Operation settings
- Set your minimum and maximum speed for the motor
- Set your Motor Run Direction from the Operation Settings Menu.
- Under Control Logic > Logic Flow > Load the logic flow "0-10 VDC with interlocks“
- Test the system to ensure correct operation
- This dry contact functions as the Enable for the motor.
